Events Specialist - Level 2

Prior experience with event planning and logistics; prefer candidates with prior corporate event planning experience such as trade shows, etc. We are seeking someone who's transparent in planning with the ability to keep detailed records of event status.
Project management skills with a high attention towards details. Ability to create project schedules to identify overall timeframe for project activities to meet the defined project objectives (to include major milestones), identify resource requirements for projects, and coordinate those resources throughout the project.
Strong written and oral communication.
Proactive communicator; takes initiative early on to anticipate future event needs.
Comfortable running event planning calls to both large and small groups.
Prior experience coordinating vendor agreements.
Ability to coordinate logistics tasks with only general direction.
Ability track event budgets.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced work environment.
Salesforce knowledge desired.
Travel Expectations ? up to 40% during peak seasons, some international travel may be required.
Experience/Education: 3-5 years related experience with a Bachelor's degree or 1-3 years related experience with a Master's degree.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
