Job Description
Generates work orders and purchase requests. Monitors and maintains minimum/maximum points, safety stock, forecast levels, and order quantities to sustain a balance between inventory levels and lead time objectives. Communicates production schedules and material requirements. Tracks, expedites and reschedules material to the production line. Maintains progress reports, schedules, and other related records
Knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques (e.g., capacity/capability planning, single piece flow, buffer management)
Clearly conveys information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message
Ability to utilize technological tools (e.g., PC's, web sites) and business system applications to manage, synthesize, and interpret data relevant to workloads, responsibilities, problem identifications and resolutions
Ability to operate relevant personal computing hardware (e.g., personal computers, software, printers, storage media) and standard software (e.g., word processing, graphics packages, spreadsheets/databases)
Knowledge of the unique aspects of inventory planning and control processes (e.g., Lot sizes, Work in Process WIP , Inventory Burndown, modifications, out of production, Kanban, Just In Time JIT , Kitting, Point of Use POU , inventory turn rate) to support planned and unplanned requirements
Knowledge of customer and supplier requirements to support program deliveries for example planned versus unplanned demand, economic order quantity, resource planning, material type, manufacture or purchase, lead times
Knowledge of air vehicle product configuration, assembly, disassembly, reassembly, testing, manufacturing planning, and systems to support emergent and routine requirements
Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the organization, including the impact of changes in one area on another area. This includes the ability to see and understand the interrelationships between components of systems and plans and anticipate future events

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
