Job Description
Performs assembly, disassembly, repair, installation and/or inspection tasks on system modules and performs modular assembly. Tests and calibrates electrostatic discharge (ESD) stations and other test equipment and records calibration data. Programs air vehicle and ground control station (GCS) systems. Reviews and updates technical documentations. Maintains test and calibrated tools and equipment and performs simple measurements. Uses and maintains hand and/or power tools. Completes routine business and required documentation.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
The Manufacturing Repair Technician 1 performs routine assembly, disassembly, of modules. Reads technical documents, work instructions and drawings. Coordinates product inspection and acceptance of new and refurbished products. Cleans and packages aircraft and ground control station (GCS) systems for shipment. Coordinates the closing and processing of completed manufacturing orders and shipment of products. Uses and maintains hand and/or power tools. Completes required documentation.
Builds and troubleshoots system modules for Integrator and ScanEagle Platform.
Use test and calibrated tools and equipment and performs simple measurements.
Uses and maintains hand and/or power tools.
Maintain tool inventory and FOD control through good housekeeping and adherence to set tool control procedures.
Assist Engineers with design changes, system testing, data collection, and document preparation for continuous product improvement and development.
Perform first article inspections and be able to file request for product and process deviations.
Review and edit technical work instructions, AS9100 Quality documentations and procedures to illustrate and standardize manufacturing system processes.
Complete and maintain currency with all organizational training requirements (Government, Safety, ESD, AS9100, etc.).
Maintain compliance with AS9100 requirements during daily operations.
Maintain accurate time keeping.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Demonstrated ability for following work instructions, drawings and checklist in the assembly of systems and modules.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical documentation and drawings.
Demonstrated ability to use hand tools and being able to perform work in small spaces.
Basic understanding of Microsoft office applications such as Word, Outlook, Excel.
Knowledge of AS9100 requirements.
Basic understanding/awareness of networking systems and use of DOS.
Working knowledge of the effects of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) on electromechanical and electronics systems, and associated precautionary practices.
Ability to lift 50 lb loads repeatedly during a working day.
Education & Experience:
0-1 years experience preferred experience with a High School Diploma

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
